n in silico-based characterization of the maize sucrose transporter (SUT) gene family
蔗糖转运蛋白主要负责植物细胞和整株水平蔗糖的运输。本文通过搜索玉米基因组鉴定7个蔗糖转运蛋白基因,对这些基因的内含子外显子分布、基因组分布、选择性剪切进行了分析,同时分析这7个基因的启动子序列,并分析了这些基因在不同组织中的表达情况。
Sucrose transporters (SUTs) are responsible for the allocation of sucrose both within the plant cell and at the whole plant level. Here, a search of the maize genome identified seven SUT genes, varying with respect to their exon/intron structure. The content of cis-acting regulatory elements within each gene's promoter region was identified in silico, and the relative abundance of each gene in nine defined organs was concluded from an analysis of archival EST data.
