离子发动机空心阴极电势脉动研究进展
Research progress on potential oscillations near hollow cathode in ion thruster
空心阴极是离子发动机的核心部件。然而在离子发动机工作时存在一个普遍的现象,阴极附近会有电势脉动。该电势脉动会产生大量高能离子并且这些高能离子的能量远大于放电电压值。进而造成比预期更为严重的阴极部件的溅射腐蚀。本文就国内外针对空心阴极电势脉动不同类型产生原因及研究进展进行介绍,分析了国内外实验和理论研究的现状,提出了该研究中仍然存在的关键问题以及今后的研究展望。
Hollow cathode is a core part of the ion thruster. There exists an unstable discharge phenomenon in which the discharge voltage oscillates. The discharge voltage oscillations produce high-energy ions in the cathode plumes with energy significantly in excess of the discharge voltage and these high energy ions caused higher erosion rates than the anticipated erosion rates. In this study, we introduce the reason of different types of voltage oscillations and research progress, and analyze the present status of experimental and theoretical studies both at home and abroad.
