Simulation analysis of real-time audio and video services with EDCA mechanism in Ad Hoc multi-hop networks based on OPNET
在 Ad Hoc 多跳网络中,IEEE802.11e 协议采用了增强型分布信道接入机制(Enhanced Distributed Channel Access,EDCA),用于为实时多媒体业务提供有效的 QoS 保证机制。本文简单介绍和对比了 802.11 分布式协调功能(DCF)和 802.11e EDCA 两种信道接入机制,并通过使用网络仿真软件 OPNET,模拟了实时的视、音频业务在 802. 11 DCF 和 802.11e EDCA 信道接入机制下在不同网络负载下的性能并进行了仿真分析。
In Ad Hoc multi-hop networks, IEEE802.11e protocol adopts Enhanced Distributed Channel Access (EDCA) mechanism, which is used to provide QoS assurance mechanism for real-time multimedia services. This paper simply introduces 802.11 DCF mechanism and 802.11e EDCA mechanism and compares them. Through simulating real-time audio and video services which respectively use 802.11 DCF mechanism and 802.11e EDCA mechanism in different network loads on OPNET platform, finally the paper gives the simulation result and analysis.
