海拔对高寒草甸25种植物种子中主要营养成分含量的影响

种子中营养物质的含量及其组成对于种子萌发及其随后的幼苗建植成功与否具有非常重要的意义。不同的营养物质为种子的萌发及幼苗建植发挥着各自的作用,因此其含量差异可能导致种子采取不同的萌发及幼苗生长对策。为了探讨种子中营养物质含量是否因海拔梯度不同而产生适应性变化,本研究以青藏高原东北缘甘肃省藏族自治州境内合作和玛曲两个海拔梯度上均有的广泛分布的25种植物种子为研究材料,用索式提取法、蒽酮比色法和考马斯亮蓝G-250法分别测定了种子中主要营养成分--粗脂肪、可溶性糖、淀粉和蛋白质的含量,分析植物种子中主要营养成分含量与海拔高度之间的关系,为进一步探讨高寒草甸植物在种子水平上的适应机制及其进化适应意义提供理论依据。结果表明:同一植物种子在高海拔生境中含有相对较高的脂肪含量、可溶性糖含量,而蛋白质含量在低海拔生境中含量相对较高,淀粉含量在高低海拔两个生境中的含量变化不明显,这可能是因为随着海拔的升高,温度降低,植物种子中储藏较多的脂肪和可溶性糖,为种子萌发和幼苗的初始生长提供足够的能量以抵御严寒的环境。
he conponents and contents of main seed reserves are very important to seed germination and subsequent seedling establishment. The different seed germination and seedling growth strategy might be shaped by the difference in contents of seed reserves due to their different functional effect. In this study, the main reserve contents changed between high and low altitude in 25 species from the northeast Qinghai-Tibet plateau was analyzed, which could provide a theoretical basis for adaptability of alpine plants. The content of crude fats was determined by Soxhlet extraction with petroleum(60-90℃)as solvent for 8 hours; the content of soluble sugar and starch were determined by anthrone colorimetric method; protein values were obtained by Coomassie Brilliant Blue G-250. The results showed that: the content of crude fats and the content of soluble sugar were higher at the higher altitude, the content of protein was lower at the higher altitude, however, the content of starch was not changed between lower and higher altitude. Because temperature was decreased with increasing altitude, relative higher percentages of fat and soluble sugars in seeds at higher altitude might provide enough energy for seed germination and initial growth of seedlings.
