在信息爆炸的当今社会,各种数据以不同的形式存储在不同的地方,如何统一管理和访问这些分散在各地的异构数据源成为了一大难题。本文首先比较了现有的数据集成技术,重点研究了网格与中间件技术相结合的数据集成技术OGSA-DAI(Open Grid Service Architecture-Data Access and Integration,网格服务架构-数据访问和集成),然后设计并实现了一个基于OGSA-DAI的异构数据集成系统,使系统使用者可以不必了解数据源的底层存储细节,而是利用统一的查询界面透明访问所需数据。最后利用三个存储在不同位置的异构的医学数据源作为测试数据,验证了该系统的可行性。

In modern society of information explosion, the data in different forms are stored in different places. How to manage and access to these distributed heterogeneous data sources has become a big problem. This paper compares existing technologies of data integration at first, and focus on researching the OGSA-DAI which is a combination data integration technology of grid and middleware. Then a heterogeneous data integration system based on OGSA-DAI is been designed and proposed. Users do not have to understand the storage details of data sources, but use a unified query interface to transparent access to needed data by this system. Finally, use three hetergeneous medicinal data sources stored in different places as test data to prove the feasibility of this system.
