自蔓延冶金法合成LaB6微粉

Preparation and Characterization of LaB6 by SHS-Metallurgy

采用自蔓延冶金法制备出了LaB6微粉。对La2O3-B2O3-Mg反应体系的相关反应进行了热力学和动力学分析,确定了反应气氛以及相关的动力学参数。对热爆产物及浸出产物进行X-ray衍射、扫描电镜、透射电镜分析和粒度分布测试仪等分析。结果表明:热爆产物由LaB6,MgO,少量 Mg3B2O6以及LaOCl等相组成,采用盐酸和硫酸两步浸出可以获得纯净的单一相的LaB6。LaB6的纯度大于99%,其平均粒径为1.92μm,计算得LaB6的晶格常数a=0.4148nm。

LaB6 powder was prepared by Self-propagating High-temperature Synthesis Metallurgy (SHS Metallurgy). The relative reactions of B2O3-La2O3-Mg systems were analyzed thermodynamically and dynamically and then the reaction atmosphere and the dynamical parameters were obtained. The combustion products and leached products were analyzed by X-ray 、SEM、TEM and granularity analyzer. The results indicated that the combustion products consisted of LaB6,MgO,little Mg3B2O6 and LaOCl. The single phase LaB6 was obtained by leaching first with HCl and then with H2SO4. LaB6 purity is shown not lower than 99% and its average particle size is 1.92μm. The crystal lattice constant of LaB6was calculated to be a=0.4 148nm.
