指纹具有唯一性和稳定性,因此被用来当作鉴别个人身份的主要依据。自动指纹识别系统是基于计算机而进行指纹识别的技术,具有方便、高效、安全、可靠等优点。在金融安全、数据加密、电子商务等各个领域都得到了广泛的应用。目前广泛使用的基于细节点的算法识别性能较高,但是由于需要前期预处理,增加了系统的开销;另一方面,传统的基于结构特征的算法速度较快,然而对偏移指纹的识别性能较差。针对以上不足,本文研究设计了基于Gabor滤波的识别算法,该算法首先计算方向图完成定位参考点,并将以参考点为中心提取的感兴趣区域划分为3个同心环,每个同心环再分成12个扇区,然后通过8方向Gabor滤波分别提取原始图像和旋转后图像的特征,最后利用计算待识别指纹与指纹库中的模板的欧氏距离实现匹配。

Due to their uniqueness and persistence, fingerprints are used as main basis of personal identity. Automated fingerprint identification system(AFIS),a technology of fingerprint identification using computer, is of convenience high fields efficiency, security and reliability. It has been applied in many field such as financial security, data encryption, and electronically business.At present, the widely used minutiae-based algorithm performs well on recognition while the is highly efficient but preprocessing is time-consuming. On the other hand, the traditional structure-based algorithm is highly efficient but performs poorly on rotated pictures. For the shortcomings above, this paper studies and designs the recognitional algorithm based on Gabor filtering. The algorithm first calculates the positioning pattern to complete the reference point and divides the region of interest extracted to reference point as the center point into three concentric rings. Each concentric ring has been divided into 12 sectors, then the features of original and rotated image are extracted from Gabor filter through the 8 directions. Finally it utilizes Euclidean distance between fingerprint identification being calculated and template of fingerprint library to achieve the matching.
