一个水稻长穗颈突变体eui1(t)的鉴定和基因定位
Identification and Gene mapping of Uppermost Internode Elongation Mutant eui1(t) in Rice
利用EMS(甲基磺酸乙酯)诱变优良恢复系缙恢10号种子,在其后代获得了一个长穗颈高秆突变体,暂命名为eui1(t)。与诱变亲本相比,倒一节间、倒二节间和穗颈显著伸长,其中,顶节间伸长最为明显。遗传分析表明,该性状受一对隐性核基因控制。利用西农1A/eui(t)的F2群体进行基因定位,初步将EUI1(t)基因定位在第5染色体长臂末端,位于SSR分子标记RM3321和RM26内侧,分别相距12.3 cM和15.8 cM。
uppermost internode elongation mutant was discovered from the progeny of excellent restorer line Jinhui10 seed treated by EMS, temporally designed as eui1(t). Compared with that of original parent, the uppermost internode in the mutant elongated strongly and led to 0.01 distinctive level, and additionally, other internodes were also elongated. Genetic analysis showed that such character was controlled by one single recessive nuclear gene, and the gene was primarily mapped at the end of chromosome 5 on one side of SSR marker RM3321 and SSR26 with genetic distances 12.3 cM and15.8 cM, respectively according to F2 population of Xinong1A/ eui1(t) in this paper, these results must be in favor of application and function-analysis of eui1(t).
