摘要

甚高频数据交换系统(VDES)是海上移动业务领域船舶自动识别系统(AIS)的增强和升级版本,集成了现有的AIS功能,增加了特殊应用消息(ASM)和宽带甚高频数据交流(VDE)功能。卫星VDES系统有望改善全球海上交通安全和信息服务状况,支持中远海实时导航和通信,可有效支持中远海船舶导航和智能航运中对海事数据通信的需求。本文分析了VDES系统的建设现状和通信市场,介绍了其在导航保障中的应用场景和操作体系结构。

Abstract

Very high frequency Data Exchange System (VDES) is an enhanced and upgraded version of the ship Automatic identification system (AIS) in the maritime mobile business field, integrating the existing AIS functions, and adding special application message (ASM) and broadband Very high frequency data exchange (VDE) functions. Satellite VDES communication is expected to improve maritime traffic safety and information service status globally, supporting real-time navigation and communication. In principle, it can effectively support the demand for maritime data communication in E navigation and intelligent shipping. This article analyzes the current construction status and communication market of VDES system, and presents its application scenarios and operational architecture in navigation support.
