微小RNA(miRNA)是近年来新发现的一类长度约为22 nt的、单链内源性高度保守的非编码小分子RNA,参与细胞增殖、分化、凋亡等多种重要细胞活动,与肿瘤发生发展、侵袭转移有密切关系,目前已成为肿瘤研究领域的热点。自Liu等首先成功使用微阵列芯片检测多种组织和细胞miRNA表达后,miRNA微阵列芯片逐渐被应用于各种肿瘤研究中,并呈现出巨大的应用价值。
MicroRNAs (miRNAs) are a class of small noncoding RNA genes recently found to be abnormally expressed in several types of cancer. The miRNA microchip is a robust tool, not only for detection of the pattern of miRNA expression, but also for expression quantification. The use of the array has several advantages for miRNA expression detection.
