he type ,source and physical and chemical property of Vitamin E were introduced simply. The genetic variation of the Vitamin E content and composition in oil plants was summarized. The bio-synthetic approach of tocopherol and interrelated genes was expatiated.The future development in elevating the Vitamin E content in oil plants was expected.
