矿业城市土地利用变化研究进展

Mining cities are not only the typical urban areas for studying the Land-Use and Land-Cover Change, but also an important perspective to study the regional structural changes, reflect the human geography characteristics and explain the changes in the urban environmen.But due to the mining cities have strong dependence on mineral resources, mineral resources are being exploited, processed and utilized continuously in the development process, therefore, the problem of resource depletion and environmental degradation and other issues seriously restricts the development of mining cities, consequently, the transformation of mining cities and sustainable development imminent. By using literature review, this paper reviews the land use change and its mechanism for mining cities in China in recent years, summarizes the research progress of land use change in mining cities, describes the changes of environment, resources, economy and other aspects due to the change of land, and then forecasts the trend of land use change in the future, and provides a reference for the economic transformation and sustainable development and urban planning of other mining cities.
