工艺条件对淀粉接枝VAc动力学及木材胶性能的影响
Effects of process conditions on kinetics of graft copolymerization of VAc onto starch and the properties of the wood adhesive
在高淀粉浓度条件下,研究了接枝共聚反应初期,过硫酸铵(APS)和醋酸乙烯脂(VAc)浓度、聚合反应温度对接枝反应速率(Rg)的影响,获得低APS浓度下的接枝反应速率方程:Rg=K[APS]0.51[VAc]1.18,验证了其合理性。提出接枝聚合反应机理,根据等活性理论和稳态理论,推导出理论速率方程:Rg=K[APS]0.5[VAc],这与实验得到方程吻合较好,表明提出的接枝聚合反应机理合适。以动力学研究结果为基础,研究了APS与阴离子型乳化剂十二烷基硫酸钠(LSS)添加量、聚合反应温度以及接枝共聚时间对接枝参数和淀粉木材胶性能的影响。结果表明:聚合温度为70℃,APS、LSS的添加量分别占淀粉干基质量的1%和1.5%、反应3 h时,制得的高淀粉含量木材胶性能较好。
Effects of grafting temperature, concentration of initiator (APS) and VAc on the rate of grafting (Rg) were examined in the initial stage of the reaction when the concentration of starch slurry was kept constant. The experiental rate equation for grafting copolymerization was expressed as Rg=K[APS]0.51[VAc]1.18, then its rationality was verified. The mechanism for the copolymerization was proposed. Based on the activity theory and the steady state theory, the theoretical rate expression for graft polymerization was Rg=K[APS]0.5[VAc], which generally fitted the experimental results, showing that the mechanism for the copolymerization which put forward was suitable. Based on the kinetic results aboved, the effects of the adding amount of APS and lauryl sodium sulfate (LSS), polymerization temperature and time on the grafting parameters and characteristics of starch adhesive were studied. The results revealed that performance of the wood adhesive with high starch content was good when the amount of APS and LSS added respectively were 1% and 1.5% of dry starch weight, reaction temperature and time respectively were 70℃ and 3 h.
