柴油污染对高岭土液塑限影响试验研究

Experimental study on the influence of diesel oil on the Atterberg limits of kaolinite

近年来,土体遭受有机物污染后引起其工程性质改变的研究越来越受到环境岩土工程界关注,而目前大多数研究工作主要是针对砂土进行的,对于黏性土的相关研究则较少开展。基于此,选择柴油作为有机污染物,商业高岭土作为黏性土材料,在室内人工制备成柴油污染土。首先分析了水油共存条件下,黏性土烘干含水量的修正测试技术。然后采用液塑限联合测定法对污染土的界限含水率进行测定,试验研究了柴油含量对高岭土界限含水率的影响规律。结果表明:常规烘干法所得含水率数值低于污染土的真实含水率,而且随着柴油含量的增加,两者间差值越大;随着柴油含量的增加,高岭土的液限和塑限均非线性减低,且两者的变化趋势相近,因此柴油污染土的塑性指数受柴油含量影响不明显。

he research about engineering property change of soil contaminated by organic compounds has drawn more and more attention in the field of geoenvironmental engineering. However, most studies are still mainly focused on sands, and few works are related with clayey soil. Thus, diesel oil is adopted as organic contaminant, and a kind of commercial kaolinite is used as the representative of clayey soil. The contaminated soil specimens are manually prepared in the laboratory. The modified oven-dry moisture content is first studied in consideration of the mutual existence of water and diesel oil in pore space of clay. Then the Atterberg limits of contaminate soil are measured through combined test method in order to experimentally study the influence of diesel oil content on the Atterberg limits of kaolinite. It is found that the moisture content obtained from traditional oven-dry method is lower than that of the real water content for oil-contaminated kaolinite. As the oil content is increased, the difference between the measured moisture content from traditional oven-dry method and the real water content gets larger. In addition, both the liquid limit and plastic limit of the contaminated kaolinite are nonlinearly decreased with the increase of the diesel oil content. Their variation trend is quite similar to each other, thereby the diesel oil content nearly has no effect on the plasticity index of contaminated kaolinite.
