南岭灰蝶名录初报

Lycaenidae is a small taxon in butterflies, and most of species are specialists for hostplants, so they are very sensitive for the change of environment. The number of the species can reflect the change of environment which they are living indirectly. However, they received less concern so far. In order to understand the biodiversity of Lycaenaidae in Mt. Nanling, and furtherly to analysis the species richness of Lycaenaidae along the elevation gradient, field surveys were implemented during 1996-2012. A preliminary catalogue of 87 species of Lycaenaidae was provided after identification of specimens. Distribution of each species was listed. All specimens are deposited in Department of Entomology, College of Natural Resources and Environment, South China Agricultural University, Guangzhou, China.
