人工读数是制约高度表检测系统自动化程度及效率的关键因素,而基于计算机视觉的识别具有明显的优势。本文结合高度表的外观特征,先对表盘图像进行灰度化、滤波、二值化、形态学指针分离、指针细化等预处理,然后由Hough变换定出指针中心线参数,最后通过指针相对零刻度线的角度及其象限信息得出示数,实验表明该算法具有良好的识别性能,算法稍微改动亦适用于其它指针式仪表的识别。

Manual reading is a key factor of constraining the automation and efficiency of altimeter detection system. The recognition based on computer vision has distinct advantage. This paper aims to the altimeter number of automatic recognition ,by combining the appearance of altimeter and handling of the dial grayscale images, filtering, thresholding, morphology pointer separation, thinning, and Hough transform to extract the pointer linear characteristics of image. The experiment shows that the algorithm has good performance. The slightly changing of the algorithm also appropriate to other pointer instrument recognition.
