XRD and TEM study of the preparation of nano-TiO2 by liquid-phase hydrolysis

以TiCl4和正辛醇为原料,通过液相水解法制备出了粒径较小、分散性较好的纳米二氧化钛粉体。利用XRD和TEM等检测方法对二氧化钛粒子特性的影响因素进行了探讨。结果表明,随着煅烧温度的升高,纳米TiO2颗粒呈增大趋势,分散性越来越差,晶相由锐钛矿相向金红石相转变。煅烧时间对纳米TiO2的粒径大小和晶相影响较小,对纳米TiO2分散性影响较大。随着TiCl4浓度变大,TiO2粒径变小,但分散性变差。水解温度越高,纳米TiO2粒径越大,颗粒分散性越差。

Nano-titanium dioxide powder with good dispersivity and small particle size was prepared through liquid-phase hydrolysis from titanium tetrachloride and n-octanol. The factors affecting the nature of titanium dioxide were studied by XRD and TEM. The results show that with the calcination temperature rising, the nano-TiO2 particle becomes larger, and the dispersivity is worse. The crystal pattern changes from anatase phase to rutile phase at higher temperature. The calcination time affects slightly the nano-TiO2 particle size and the crystal pattern, but it affects intensely nano-TiO2 dispersivity. When the titanium tetrachloride concentration increases, the particle size becomes smaller, but dispersivity becomes worse. When the hydrolysis temperature increases, the nano-TiO2 particle size becomes larger, and the dispersivity becomes worse.
