基于入射光的相位分布调制,我们研究了一种动态调控表面等离激元聚焦的方法。通过空间光调制器改变入射光的相位,我们成功实现了二维平面上表面等离激元聚焦后焦点位置的动态调控,并理论分析了其调控机理。我们还利用这种方法实现了表面等离激元焦点与亚波长波导耦合的动态调控,展示了该方法在片上集成光子回路等方面的应用前景。

We investigate an approach to dynamically manipulate focus of Surface Plasmon Polaritons based on the modulation of phase distribution of incident beam. By changing the phase distribution by a Spatial Light Modulator (SLM), we successfully realize dynamic control on the position of the focal point of SPP on the two-dimensional metallic surface,and theoretically analyse the mechanism of such manipulation. In addition, we use this approach to achieve dynamic control of coupling SPP focus to subwavelength waveguides, exhibiting its potential applications in integrated plamonic circuits devices.
