Noise characteristics of dual-pumped fiber optical parametric amplifiers based on photonic crystal fiber

本文研究了由增益和损耗引起的双泵浦参量放大器的噪声特性,分析了输入信号功率、信号波长以及非线性系数等因素对噪声指数的影响。

he noises from dual pump sources induced by gain and loss in photonic crystal fibers are analyzed. A special photonic crystal fiber is designed, and its related noise figure changes with structure parameter. The noise figure decreases as the hole diameter decreases. Three factors including input-signal power, signal wavelength which impact on the final noise figure are presented when the PCF structure parameter is fixed.
