基于Gabor的滤波器的指纹预处理

In view of the direction property of fingerprint and the defect on useful fingerprint information loss caused by traditional method, in this paper a set algorithm for fingerprint image preprocessing based on gabor filter is proposed. First of all ,transforming fingerprint image into normalization. Second, obtaining fingerprint orientation from gray fingerprint and working out every parameters of gabor filter .Third, gabor filtering can be used in gray fingerprint after normalization.Lots of comparative experiments show that the image preprocessed with this algorithm has a clear structure and keep the feature of directionality and rationality.
