公交优先发展政策的关键要素研究

ransit policy is important component of city traffic policy, which possesses directive function to transit development, since the establishment of transit policy affects city economic development directly, we should not overlook it. Although the way of transit development is quite different in diverse cities, its inherent requirement is consistent. Through reviewing transit policy in several transit developed cities including Curitiba, Singapore, Tokyo, London and Hong Kong, this paper indicates that wholesome transportation laws and regulations, efficient planning, centralized management, coordinated push-pull strategies and marketizing operation model are the five key elements of transit policy, which provides references for other cities establishing efficient transit policy when they prior develop transit.
