Withthe the fast enhancement of urbanization and the rapid growth of vehicle ownership,The traffic congestion of Zhengzhou has become an urgent problem of urban development, some main causes were analyzed in the aspects of coordination of transport and urban land use,traffic demand and supply, road network structure, satic traffic, traffic management and so on.And the corresponding countermeasures were put forward for smoothing the traffic flow of Zhengzhou.Such as coordinate transport planning and urban land use planning, implement traffic demand management, build bus rapid transit system,improve the road network structure, increase the effective supply of road, enhance parking management and intelligent information management, the necessary traffic engineering and municipal engineering remediation.
