his paper discusses the method of making delaminated color map of Shanghai foreshore with underwater terrain data as source data, which is DWG format of AutoCAD. After extracting elevation data from that, eliminating its gross error, and fusing data from different height/depth datum, DEM is constructed. Then design color of delamination based on elevation. The purpose of this paper is just to provide the reference of extracting elevation data from underwater terrain data and making delaminated color map.
