Image encryption algorithm based on Morse code and cellular automata
针对现有图像加密算法存在密钥空间不足、对明文图像不够敏感,导致容易受到攻击和鲁棒性差的问题,结合摩斯密码和元胞自动机(cellular automata,CA),设计了一种新型图像加密算法。该算法借助哈希函数和摩斯密码来构建与明文图像高度关联的密钥初始值,摒弃传统的置乱-扩散的加密机制,采用置乱-扩散-CA转换的加密结构进行图像加密。通过对实验结果和相关安全指标进行分析,发现该算法的密钥与明文图像高度关联,密钥空间高达2528,可以抵抗各种统计攻击和差分攻击,能够防御60%的裁剪攻击和各种类型的噪声攻击,表明该算法具备较高的灵敏度和良好的安全性及鲁棒性。
In order to solve the problem of insufficient key space and lack of sensitivity to the plain image that led to easy vulnerability to attacks and low robustness of existing image encryption algorithms. A novel image encryption algorithm was designed by combining Morse code and cellular automata (CA). The algorithm obtained the initial key value that was highly associated with the plain image with the help of hash function and Morse code and employed the encryption structure of permutation-diffusion-CA conversion instead of the traditional permutation-diffusion encryption mechanism. The analysis of experimental results and related secure indicators showed that the key of the algorithm was highly correlated with the plain image, the key space reached 2528, and it could resist various statistical attack and differential attack, 60% shear attack and various noise attack, indicating that the algorithm displayed a high sensitivity, good security and robustness.
