WDM 系统中先进光纤传输调制格式的调研

调制技术是DWDM系统的关键技术之一,本文通过调研阐述了各种光调制编码技术(包括NRZ,RZ,CS-RZ,RZ-DPSK, CSRZ-DPSK等调制格式)的产生原理及优缺点比较,并对最新的调制技术及实验进行了详细介绍,其中包括用RZ-DPSK调制方式和偏振交替相结合来减少系统中非线性的影响;毫米波段往复式光纤调制器;ASK 和 8-APSK(NRZ-8-APSK和RZ-8-APSK)的产生及色散容忍度和自相位调制SPM的影响;差分相位调制格式中的电信号处理技术(ESP);各种调制方式与不同的光纤模式的兼容性问题。此外,本文对基于LiNbO3调制器的各种调制格式进行了模型建立及仿真,仿真结果表明,因为NRZ的频谱结构紧凑,实施简单,在中短距离光纤传输系统中被广泛应用,CSRZ-DPSK具有较好的频谱结构,较好的色散容忍度和非线性容忍度,又因其成本较低,是长距离高速光纤传输系统的最佳选择之一。
Modulation technology is one of the key technique of DWDM system, this paper explained the principle of produce and comparison of some optical modulation technology(including NRZ,RZ,CS-RZ,RZ-DPSK,CSRZ-DPSK).Then we particularly introduced the newest modulation technology and experimentation:6*42.7-Gb/s transmission over ten 200-km EDFA-amplified SSMF spans using polarization-alternating RZ-DPSK; Electronic Signal Processing for Differential Phase Modulation Formats; Low phase noise photonic millimeter-wave generation by using a reciprocating optical modulator; Chromatic dispersion and SPM tolerance of 8-state/symbol (binary ASK and QPSK) modulated signal. Finally this paper provided the model set-up and simulation based on LiNbO3 modulator. The simulation result shows that NRZ is largely used in middle and short distance optical-fiber transmission system for its tighten frequency spectrum structure and easily practiced; CSRZ-DPSK is one of the best choice of long distance and high speed optical-fiber transmission system, because it has better frequency spectrum structure and Chromatic dispersion non-linear tolerance and its cost is lower than others.
