GIS在森林资源分类经营区划中的应用

his paper take the application of GIS in the forest resources classified management division in Hariturege Forestry Farm as an example. Using SuperMap Deskpro 2003, ASTER remote sensing image and vector data of the research area is carried on processing and the forest resources spatial data of research area is also gained, and obtained by the statistical analysis the situation of this Forestry Farm: the public welfare forest is 135,100,648.83 m2, in which national public welfare forest is 111,700,491.83 m2 and mountainous area state-owned public welfare forest is 23,401,210.00m2. Therefore, GIS has promptly, accurate, convenient in the forest resources classified management division, leading the forestry information technology in Xinjiang to close up to the world advanced level gradually.
