愉悦蓼的花柱二型研究

istyly is clearly confirmed in Polygonum jucundum. The distylous species is dimorphic for tepals, styles, stigmas, pollen size and number. L-morph flowers are slightly larger than S-morph flowers. The thrum stigma width is larger than that of pin thrum morph, and pin stigmas have less and higher papillae than thrum ones. Flowers of L-morph had significantly smaller pollen grains produced in great numbers than flowers of S-morph. Based on the observations, thrips and flower flies appear to be effective pollinators of this species. Moreover, the taxonomical significance of mating system of P. jucundum is also discussed.
