long with the development of global economic integration, trade between countries is more frequency. As the unique effective carrier, maritime transportation channel becomes the focus of the world. "Maritime transportation channel" has been widely used by academia, but there is no authoritative connotation. Firstly, combine the nautical practical experience to define "maritime transportation channel" based on existing definition of "transportation channel". Secondly, construct the connotation and evaluation index in aspect of external morphology and internal attributes. Finally, discriminate and comb China's maritime transportation channels, and provide theoretical reference for the construction of relative framework and developing safeguards of sea.
