VOF法和Level Set法同属于界面捕获类算法,有很多相似之处。本文对两种方法进行了详细的介绍,并用剪切流场进行了测试,比较分析了两种方法的优缺点。测试的结果表明,VOF法容易破碎,界面重构复杂,但有些VOF实现方案能够模拟非常尖锐的界面,这一点上要比Level Set法好。Level Set法不需要重构界面,模拟出的界面形状要比VOF法光滑,整体效果要比VOF法好

VOF method and Level Set method is the popular technique of interface capturing ,with many similar aspects. In this paper,the two methods and their various schemes are introduced detailedly. At last, the two methods is applied in shearing flow, and the excellence and disadvantage of the two methods is analysed. The test show, VOF can induce some fragments that isn’t actual in physics with complex interface reconstructing.But some VOF shemes can simulate some sharp interfaces well than Level Set. Level Set needn’t reconstruct interface,and interface shape of simulatation is more smooth than VOF ,with better result.
