刀具自由状态下的频响测试是子结构耦合方法获得机床整机反映在刀尖点频响的重要环节。本文以整体立铣刀为研究对象,研究了橡皮绳悬挂和弹性泡沫支撑两种支撑条件对铣刀频响特性测试结果影响的差别。测试方法则通过均匀直径钢棒的频响特性理论计算值与测试值的吻合得到验证。三把铣刀的频响测试结果表明,两种支撑条件下的频响在全频率范围内吻合很好,固有频率测试值误差最大为0.05%。因此,建议采用测试方便、效率更高的弹性泡沫支撑作为刀具频响特性测试的支撑条件。

Frequency response function (FRF) testing of endmills under free-free boundary condition is one of steps to acquire the tool point FRF of the machine tool assembly by substructure coupling method. Two boundary conditions, suspended by elastic string and supported by flexible foam, are explored to compare the difference of tested FRF on three endmills. The FRF of a standard round bar is theorical calculated and measured to validate the experimental method. The results show that the difference of FRF caused by the two boundary conditions is negligible, and the maxmium error of the first natural frequence measured is only 0.05%. It's better to employ flexible foam as the boundary condition in impact testing of tools for the sake of efficiency.
