一种基于动态门限值的MPTCP拥塞控制算法

MPTCP(Multipath TCP, 多路径传输协议)可以提供端到端的多路通信,使用户通过多路径并行获取网络资源,大大增加了网络资源的利用率,并可以节省网络基础设施建设的开销。但是,MPTCP作为一个新的网络标准,其各项细节都在研究与制定的过程中。其中,MPTCP的拥塞控制是重点研究的内容,其目标是保证网络的吞吐率、保证网络的公平性和实现拥塞平衡。而目前对于通过拥塞控制保护网络公平性方面急需一个可行的研究成果。本文从MPTCP对其他用户的公平性入手,设计了一种基于动态门限值的MPTCP拥塞控制算法,该算法在保证了网络吞吐率的同时,提高了用户间的公平性。

MPTCP (Multipath TCP) can provide end-to-end multi-channel communication, can allow users to access to network resources through multi-path parallelly,can greatly increase the utilization of network resources and can save the overhead of the network infrastructure construction. However, MPTCP as a new network standard, the study of the details is underway. Congestion control is one of the main issues in MPTCP study. Its goal is to ensure network throughput, to ensure the fairness of the network and to balance congestion. Currently a research is needed on the protection of network fairness using congestion control. This paper proposes a congestion control algorithm based on dynamic threshold from the aspect of the fairness for users in MPTCP. The algorithm can guarantee the network throughput and improve the fairness among users.
