城市建成区周边草地荒漠化遥感监测研究
Monitoring grassland desertification around the built-up area of the city based on multi-temporal remotely sensed images
本文以中国北方典型的草原煤矿城市-霍林郭勒市为例,基于多时相遥感影像,研究了城市扩张而导致的城市周边草地荒漠化问题。通过引入BP神经网络模型和光谱混合分解模型,完成了城市建成区信息、荒漠化主要评价指标和荒漠化程度信息的提取,并就城市建成区周边的草地荒漠化时空变化特点进行了分析。研究结果表明,从1987-2006年20年间,霍林郭勒市城市扩张明显,由此导致城市周边草地荒漠化加重,特别是重度荒漠化草地在季风的作用下向城市下方发展迅速,并与城市建成区面积相关性显著,可将城市建成区面积作为评价城市扩张对周边草地荒漠化影响的重要评价和预测指标之一。
his paper presents the spatial extent, magnitude and temporal behavior of grassland desertification caused by urban expansion. The selected test site, Huoliguole city, is the grassland city in china, located in the northeast of china. A time-series of Landsat TM images covering a period of 20 years (1987-2006) were used. The built-up area of the city, grassland desertification indicators and the grassland desertification were extracted based on BP neural network and spectral mixture unmixing approach, and the spatio-temporal evolution characteristics were analyzed. The results of our studies indicate that there is a significant increase in urban expansion from 1987 to 2006, and the similar trend was observed in the temporal magnitude behavior of the severe grassland desertification around the built-up area of the city; the severe grassland desertification is always in shape of triangle around the built-up area of the city, and developed to the east quickly with the help of monsoon; there is a positive correlation between the built-up area of the city and the area of severe desertification, so the built-up area of the city can be used as an important assessment and prediction indicator for grassland desertification due to urban expansion.
