无线通信系统的仿真在现代无线通信技术的研究中有着非常重要的作用。系统级仿真是评价一个通信系统性能的重要手段。然而,具有较高分辨率和较长仿真时间要求的系统级仿真将导致沉重的系统计算负担,因此,分离的链路级和系统级仿真对于一个通信系统的性能评估是必需的。这时,就必须定义两个仿真器之间的数据交互方法,这种链路级到系统级(L2S)的接口映射方法至关重要,影响着整个系统仿真的效率。本文首先研究了基于互信息的等效SINR映射(MI-ESM)的原理,阐述了如何把一系列变动的SINR值映射到一个单一的与实际误块率有很强相关性的SINR值上,然后如何由这个SINR值预测到链路的误块率。重点研究了MI-ESM在OFDM系统中的应用,并对其进行改进,提出了基于互信息的链路级性能模型,简化了接口的实现。在仿真中具体实现了基于互信息的链路级系统级接口设计方案,验证了接口的性能,并给出了相应的仿真结果。

Wireless communication system simulation is very important in the area of modern wireless technology research. It is commonly agreed that a system level simulation is the most important way to evaluate a communication system's performance. However, the heavy computation cost of system simulation with high resolution and long duration would lead to very long simulation time. Therefore, a separate link and system level simulation are needed for network performance evaluation. Then the mapping method to interconnect the two simulators is essential and has to be defined carefully. This L2S mapping method is so important that it affects the efficiency of the system simulation.The paper firstly covers the basic principle of the MI-ESM method, shows how to map the sequence of varying SINR to a single value that is strongly correlated with the actual BLER and then how to get the prediction BLER from the effective SINR. The paper focuses on the MI-ESM application in the OFDM system and the MI-based Link Quality Model which improves the MI-ESM and simplifies the realization of the L2S interface. The paper finishes the design of the mutual information based link level to system level interface and realizes it with simulation, including the performance of the L2S interface and some corresponding simulation results.
