More and more scientists pay close attention to the research of proteome and its unique research strategy and technical means in solving the major issues in biology are beginning to show great power and a wide range of applications in the biomedical field. Protein chip, as one of research methods on protenomics has the virtues of high efficiency, high-throughput, high-sensitivity, which has been applied to many fields of life science widely. This review serves to introduce the technology in regard to the need for development and principles as well as the application and progress in the research of tumor.
