Novel Formulas on Orthogonal Space-Time Block Codes over Rayleigh Fading Channels

Meijer’G function is an important tool for the capacity analysis of orthogonal space-time block codes (OSTBCs) over fading channels. In this paper, using Meijer’G function, we derive some novel formulas on the average capacity and outage probability of OSTBCs over usual flat Rayleigh fading channel. These formulas can be also expressed using complementary incomplete gamma function. Moreover, we also give an average capacity expression of OSTBCs over Rayleigh fading channel with keyhole.
