he thesis gives some knowledge about IC card, IC card read-write device and USB, and it expatiates on enumerating and read-writing device through API function in Visual C++ software environment, in order to realize the communication between IC card read-write device and PC based on USB interface. It focuses on the process of recognizing USB device by PC and the process of reading data from or writing data to the IC card which inserted in the read-write device.
