主机总线适配器(Host Bus Adapter,HBA)是一个在服务器内部的I/O通道与存储系统的I/O通道之间提供输入/输出处理和物理连接的电路板或集成电路适配器。在光纤通道中，HBA扩展卡主要实现服务器内总线协议和FC协议的转换，并减轻主处理器在数据存储和检索任务中的负担。Windows Driver Model(WDM)是微软在NT的基础上提出的一种新的基于Windows的通用驱动开发模式。介绍了WDM驱动开发的模式等，详细阐述了HBA驱动的实现、驱动与应用程序的接口函数，给出了HBA间发送和接收速度的简单测试，有良好的测试结果。
he Host Bus Adapter( HBA) is a integrated circuit adapter that provides I/O processing and physical connection between server internal I/O channels and storage system I/O channels.In Fibre Channel , HBA card completes the conversion between the Server Internal Bus protocols and FC protocol and reduces the burden on CPU in the task of data storage and retrieval. Windows Driver Model (WDM) is a new Windows driver development model based on Windows NT that proposed by Microsoft.The article briefly describes the driver development model of WDM and elaborates the implementation of WDM driver and the Application Program Interface functions. At last，the paper shows the good testing result of sending and receiving speed of HBA.
