Numerical Simulation and Optimal Design of an Oily Wastewater Separator Integrated Cyclone and Floation Unit

以气浮-旋流组合式含油废水分离器样机为对象,进行试验研究和数值模拟计算。结果显示该分离器对低浓度含油废水中小粒径的乳化油滴具有一定的分离效果,但是样机的最高分离效率不足50%,无法达到应用要求;数值模拟和试验所得结果吻合良好,验证了所采用模拟方法的可靠性。分析造成分离器效率不高的原因,并对其结构进行优化设计。采用已验证的数值模拟方法对优化后的新模型进行了性能预测,新模型的最高分离效率可达78%,为该类型分离器的后续研究和优化提供参考。

Experimental research and numerical simulation were done for the oily wastewater separator integrated cyclone and floation unit prototype. Results show that the separator has effect for the small particle diameter emulsified droplets of low concentration oily wastewater, but the highest separation efficiency of the model is only 50%, which cannot meet the application requirements. The numerical simulation was in good agreement with the experimental results which verify the reliability of the simulation. Authors analyzed the causes of lower separator efficiency, further optimized the structure. The optimized model was predicted through the verified numerical simulation method, the highest separation efficiency of the new model can reach 78%, which provide a reference for the further study and optimization of this type separator.
