Heterogeneous Catalytic Ozonation for the Removal of Organic Compounds from Water
化学氧化法是指使用氧化剂将水中的污染物质矿化或生成氧化产物的方法。作为一种高级氧化技术,臭氧氧化已经逐渐成为去除水中有机物的重要方法。对于近年来水源水中出现的微污染有机污染物,单独臭氧氧化却很难将其彻底矿化。因此,催化臭氧化技术引起了人们的普遍关注。非均相催化臭氧化是指使用固态金属、金属氧化物、负载在载体上的金属或金属氧化物、活性炭等来强化臭氧氧化的技术。本文概述了臭氧的性质及臭氧与水中有机物的反应,详细介绍了金属氧化物催化臭氧化技术及机理研究,包括钛氧化物、铁氧化物、锰氧化物、铝氧化物、锌氧化物、铜氧化物和贵金属氧化物。综述了活性炭催化臭氧化技术的研究发展,包括催化效果和氧化机理。提出了非均相催化臭氧化技术的发展趋势。
hemical oxidation is defined as the method with the usage of oxidants for the mineralization or the oxidation byproducts production of water contaminants. As a advanced oxidation technology for water treatment, ozonation has been a significantly promising water treatment process for the remove of organic contaminants from water. Catalytic ozonation has recently received much attention because ozonation alone does not result in the total mineralisation of micro-organic pollutants presenting in resource water. Heterogeneous catalytic ozonation is based on the ozonation enhancement in the presence of solid metals, metal oxides or metals/metal oxides on supports, activated carbon and so on. In this paper, the chemical properties of ozone and reaction of ozone with organic compounds in water are briefly discussed, and catalytic ozonation with metal oxides and the mechanism investigations are introduced in detail including titanium oxide, iron oxide, manganese oxide, aluminum oxide, zinc oxide, copper oxide and noble metal oxide. The paper also summaries the development of research on catalytic ozonation by activated carbon. It presents the developmental direction of heterogeneous catalytic ozonation in the future.
