巯丙基三乙氧基硅烷改性白炭黑的研究
Study on the different conditions used to modify silicas with 3-mercaptopropyltrimethoxysilane coupling agent
本文以巯基三乙氧基硅烷为改性剂,对白炭黑粒子进行表面改性。研究了硅烷偶联剂用量,改性条件,以及水解条件对白炭黑改性效果的影响。热重和粒径分布分析显示,改性后的白炭黑在200℃~800℃范围内的失重率比未改性的高,以及改性后白炭黑的疏水wk系数降低。说明改性后,硅烷偶联剂接枝到白炭黑表面。当改性剂用量3%,改性温度80℃,改性时间为2h,水解时间30min,水解pH值为4时,改性后白炭黑的失重率较高,而且疏水wk系数降低明显。
In this paper,silica particles were modified with 3-mercaptopropyltrimethoxysilane coupling agent.The effect of silane coupling agent, modified conditions, and hydrolysis conditions on the properties of modificated silica were studied. TGA and Particle Size Distribution analysis show that the weight loss from 200 ℃ ~ 800 ℃ of the modified silica is more than that without modificaton, and the hydrophobic wk coefficient is reduced. This revealed that silane coupling agent has grafted to the surface of silica.When the amount of modifier is 3%, modified temperature is 80 ℃, the modified time is 2h, hydrolysis time is 30min, and pH of hydrolysis is 4,the modified silica has a bigger weight loss,and its hydrophobic wk coefficient is significantly lower.
