FeCl3/KBH4: A Green and Efficient Catalytic System for the Reduction of Aromatic Nitro compounds to Amines

本文报道了一种环境友好的将硝基还原为胺基的方法,多种芳香硝基化合物在KBH4/FeCl3催化体系下在甲醇溶剂中能够快速高效的转化为相应的苯胺化合物。在该反应体系中,多种取代基团在还原反应后都可以被保留,如:酯基、氰基、氨基和碘等。而且,该催化体系中无需加入重金属,这样的绿色催化体系在有机合成中,尤其是药物合成中将有一定的应用前景。

reatment of a variety of aromatic nitro compounds with KBH4 / FeCl3 system in methanol results in high yields (75%~96%) of the corresponding anilines in a short time (30-40 min), and the reducible groups, such as ester, nitrile, amide and iodine are unaffected under these conditions. Without the adding the heavy metal, the method is green and suitable for pharmaceutical synthesis.
