EFFECTS OF SALT STRESS ON THE SEED GERMINATIONS OF DIFFERENT CUCUMBER VARIETIES

采用培养皿滤纸发芽法[1]研究了NaCl 及不同阴离子胁迫处理对黄瓜种子萌发的影响,结果表明:在NaCl的胁迫下,低浓度促进种子发芽,高浓度抑制种子发芽,且发芽指数(Gi)、 活力指数(Vi)、幼胚一级侧根数对胁迫的反应比发芽率(GP)更为敏感。在Na+浓度保持为255mmol/L时,Na2SO4、Na2CO3、NaNO3、NaCl四种盐中以Na2CO3 对五个供试黄瓜品种种子发芽的抑制作用最强,Na2SO4处理对黄瓜种子发芽的抑制作用最弱。在四种阴离子的处理下春黄冠二号、津优三号抗盐性最好,神鲁春四、高丰一号表现出的抗盐性最差。

Using the method of germination on the paper to study the effect of salt stress on the germination in different cucumber seeds, The results showed: Under salt stress, the low density promoted seed germination, the high density restrained seed germination, also the reaction of germinates index (GI),vigor index (VI) ,the number of the first order of lateral root on the seed embryos are more sensitive than the germination percentage. In the four kinds of salts Na2SO4,Na2CO3,NaNO3,NaCl, the inhibited action of germination was strong by 255mmol/L Na2CO3 in five cucumber varieties, the inhibited action of germination was weak by 255mmol/L Na2SO4 in four cucumber varieties.
