Face Recognition Method Combined DWT and PCA
本文给出了一种联合小波变换和主成分分析的人脸识别方法。该方法首先对人脸图像进行二维小波变换,得到人脸图像的低通部分。在此基础上对低通部分进行主成分分析,提取特征向量进行识别。本方法基于传统的PCA的人脸识别方法相比,能更充分地利用人脸图像主体信息,加快了识别速度,并且能够得到更好的识别效果。
In this paper, a Face Recognition method combined DWT and PCA was proposed. First, the method got the low frequency sub-image of the face image by the DWT approach. And then, PCA approach was used to extract the features of the low frequency sub-image to recognize. Compared with other Face Recognition methods based on traditional PCA, the method made fuller use of the main information of the face image, improved recognition rate and performed better.
