盐地碱蓬(Suaeda salsa L.)是一种肉质盐生植物,根据叶片的颜色分为生长在滨海盐碱地的绿色表型和生长在潮间带的紫红色表型。本文主要研究了不同浓度NaCl处理对两种表型盐地碱蓬种子萌发的影响。结果表明:两种表型的盐地碱蓬种子在低浓度NaCl(50,100 mmol/L)条件下,萌发率和对照无显著性差异;而在高浓度NaCl(400, 500 mmol/L)条件下,萌发率都显著低于对照,并且紫红色表型盐地碱蓬种子萌发率显著高于绿色表型;然而复水4天紫红色表型盐地碱蓬种子的恢复率与绿色表型无显著差异;紫红色表型盐地碱蓬种子的发芽势高于绿色表型,平均发芽速则低于绿色表型。紫红色和绿色表型盐地碱蓬种子的Na+和K+离子含量无显著性差异,而前者可溶性蛋白含量和可溶性糖含量显著高于绿色表型盐地碱蓬种子。取200 mmol/L NaCl条件下萌发4天的盐地碱蓬种子,发现紫红色表型盐地碱蓬种子的Na+和K+离子含量显著低于绿色表型,而可溶性蛋白和可溶性糖含量仍显著高于绿色表型盐地碱蓬种子。另一方面,紫红色表型盐地碱蓬种子的千粒重和直径都显著大于绿色表型的种子。这些结果表明,生长在潮间带的紫红色表型盐地碱蓬种子在成熟和萌发过程中通过积累更多有机物质,特别是有机渗透溶质,保证在潮间带高盐、缺氧和低温综合逆境下种子萌发。

bstract Suaeda salsa is a succulent halophyte. S. salsa plants are green (green phenotype: G) when they grows in saline soil far from the intertidal area and those are red-violet (red-violet phenotype: R) when they grow in intertidal area. In this paper, effects of NaCl treatment on seed germination of two S. salsa phenotypes were examined. The results showed that there were no significant differences in seed germination rate between two phenotypes compared to the control at low concentrations of NaCl (50, 100 mmol/L), and in the recovery percentage of red-violet phenotype S. salsa seeds and the green ones after the seeds which did not germinated at high concentrations of NaCl were transferred to distilled water for 4 days. However, the seed germination rates of both phenotypes were much lower at high concentrations of NaCl (400, 500 mmol/L)than those of the control. Red-violet phenotype seeds had higher germination potential and lower mean germination time than green ones. The contents of Na+ and K+ were not significantly different between two phenotype seeds and the seeds germinated in 200 mmol/L NaCl for 4d. In contrast, the contents of soluble sugar and soluble protein of both red-violet phenotype seeds and the seeds germinated in 200 mmol/L NaCl for 4d were significantly higher than those of the green ones. On other hand, Red-violet phenotype seeds were much heavier (per 1000 grains) and bigger than green ones. These results suggest that the red-violet phenotype seeds from the plants which grow in intertidal saline soil are able to germinate under salt stress, hypoxia and low temperature via accumulating more organic substances, especially organic compatible solutes during seed maturation and germination.
