he method of parametric design and drawing ,which based on the object oriented language VB is described in this paper. It also introduce the basic principle for parametric design and explain the process that establish AutoCAD model on use of VB through a example. It is proved that this method can improve the efficiency and accuracy of the drawing and provide a new economic method for designers.
