在密封条件下,含SO2和N2气氛中,考查了空气加入和保温时间对AZ91D熔体保护效果的影响。分析了表面膜形貌与成分。结果表明:空气的加入对AZ91D熔体的保护效果有着很大的影响。保护效果随着空气含量的提高而提高,当空气含量达到一定值时,熔体能够得到完全的保护。而完全保护的样品随着保温时间的增加失去了保护作用。表面膜分析表明:AZ91D熔体表面生成了一层保护膜,厚度在1-2μm之间,保护膜主要含有Mg、O和S元素,而O和S元素含量随着空气含量的提高而提高。

he effects of the addition of air and the holding time on the protection of molten AZ91D alloy were investigated in a sealed furnace filled once with N2 containing SO2. The morphology and composition of the surface film were studied. Results show that the addition of air in atmosphere containing SO2 had a great effect on the protection of AZ91D melt. The protection effect of AZ91D melt was improved with the increase of air content and the melt could be fully protected when a proper amount of air was added into the furnace. While, the protected melt was not protected any more when the holding time was increased in the same atmosphere. Results also indicate that the films formed on the surface of AZ91D melt mainly contained Mg, O and S elements and the O and S concentration in the film increased with the increase of air content.
