基于CDN的视频服务系统建模与仿真
Modeling and Simulation of Video Service System Based on CDN
QoS(Quality of Service)是衡量视频服务系统的重要指标,而视频流数据传输中由于数据包丢失或者延后到达所引起的播放画面抖动及其播放启动时延过长是影响系统QoS的重要因素。视频流数据的长距离传输是加剧数据包丢失或者延后到达,加重播放启动时延的主要原因。CDN(Content Delivery Network)通过在用户聚居区部署视频服务器,缩短视频流传输路径,是提高视频QoS的重要手段。本文建立了基于CDN的视频服务系统模型,使用影片热度高者优先算法进行影片的缓存替换,使用实时转码技术弥补缓存空间不足问题。仿真结果显示,基于CDN的视频服务系统,数据包丢失率为3.1%,数据包延后到达率为4.7%,满足视频流畅播放的要求,而用户播放启动时延平均为2.841秒,不会使用户放弃点播,说明该架构的视频服务系统具有较高的QoS。
QoS (Quality of Service) is a significant measure metric of evaluation of video service system. However, some factors existing in real world have a severe impact on QoS, particularly, loss of packets and packets delayed arrival which accounts for video frame jitter and surge of video start up delay in long distance transmission of video streaming data. By means of deployment of video servers in user communities, CDN (Content Delivery Network) can shorten the transmission path of video streaming, thus improve video QoS. This study established a comprehensive video service model based on CDN, where video-high-popularity-first algorithm was introduced to manage video cache replacement and real-time transcoding technology was used to compensate the pessimism caused by the deficiency of cache space. Experimental results showed that the video service system based on CDN behaved a packet loss rate of 3.1% and a packet delay rate of 4.7%, which meets the requirements of smooth video playback. And the average video start up delay is 2.841 seconds which can be accepted commonly. In short, metrics showed that the proposed architecture of video service performs prominent QoS.
