Realization of the network protocol system based on FPGA
设计基于FPGA高性价比、可灵活配置的特点,用VHDL语言在FPGA上实现了传输层的精简TCP协议和UDP协议、网络层的IP协议、链路层的地址解析协议和以太网MAC协议,并提供标准MII接口,通过外接PHY芯片实现网络连接。设计适用于网络环境简单的小型嵌入式设备,具有使用方便、节省资源、通用性强等优点。设计基于ISE开发环境,在Xilinx公司的Vritex-II系列FPGA上实现。
he design based on fact that FPGA has the characters of high ratio of performance and cost, flexible configuration,use VHDL and FPGA to implement simplified TCP,UDP,IP,ARP and Ethernet MAC protocol, also providing standard MII interface, and connecting with network through external PHY chip. The design could apply to small embedded devices which works in simple network environment, and designed for easy to use ,saving resource, versatility and so on. This design is based on ISE and the FPGA of Vritex-II from the Xilinx company.
