Ran结合蛋白1(Ran-binding protein 1,RanBP1)是Ran GTPase循环过程中的关键调节因子。RanBP1在所有生物体中都被发现,且在不同物种中高度保守,均含有Ran结合结构域(Ran-binding domain, RBD)。RanBPl在细胞核质运输、中心体的装配、微管的聚合、纺锤体的组装以及细胞凋亡中都发挥着重要的作用。RanBP1表达量异常影响染色体的正常分离,导致细胞分裂异常,甚至肿瘤的发生。RanBP1在不同癌症细胞中表达量的异常,引起了广大研究者的关注。本文综述了RanBP1在细胞分裂以及肿瘤发生中的作用。

Ran-binding protein-1, RanBP1, is one of the key regulators of the Ran GTPase network. RanBP1 is found in all species and the amino acid sequences are highly homologous, containing the Ran binding domain. RanBP1 plays critical roles in multiple cellular processes including nucleocytoplasmic transport, centrosome cohesion, microtubule polymerization, mitotic spindle assembly and cell apoptosis. The misexpression of RanBP1 ultimately affects the accuracy of chromosome segregation, which leads to abnormal cell division and even the occurrence of tumor. RanBP1 was found aberrant expression in many cancers, which attracted the attention of many researchers. This article reviews the role of RanBP1 in cell division and tumor generation.
