在科学计算和工程应用中，海量数据的三维可视化对计算机性能要求极高，ParaView并行可视化是有效的解决方案。本文对ParaView的现状、编译、开发技术进行了初步的研究，并介绍了ParaView在天体物理、工程应用等领域的最新应用进展，为基于ParaView的海量数据并行可视化的研究指明方向。
In the scientific computing and engineering applications, 3D visualization of massive data require high performance of computer. Parallel visualization based on PavaView is an effective solution. In this paper the research progress, the techniques of compilation and software development of ParaView are reviewed in detail, and the application progress of ParaView is introduced as well as the direction of parallel visualization of massive data based on ParaView is indicated.
